Clayton Euro Risk (CER) has just celebrated its fifth anniversary with a record business year in 2011. CER was previously known as Euro Risk Management and was sold to Clayton in 2007. CER operates in Europe, Middle East and Australasia markets as part of a global Clayton business.

2011 – A record year following 5 years of continual growth

CER Management was re-organised early in 2011 to better focus on the turbulent market conditions and provide a more focussed customer delivery. The Team was rewarded with an outstanding list of high profile transactions, which includes:

Asset Due Diligence/Reviews

This was in addition to being the Due Diligence firm of choice for the Hedge and PE Funds and Investment Banks across Europe with transactions worked on last year in the UK, Ireland, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Cyprus, Russia, Czech Republic, Romania, and Scandinavia. The record year was completed with a move into the Saudi Arabia market.
CER operates out of Bristol, UK with locally based and recruited teams across active Countries including Country Head’s and Project Leaders. CER reviewed multiple asset types within Consumer (Residential first and seconds, Cards, Auto and Personal Loans) and Commercial (SME, Asset Finance, Corporate and Commercial Loans) covering Performing, Non-Performing, Residential and Servicing.

2011 New Products and Services

As well as a record year for the core business, 2011 also marked several new launches including the Analytics and Modelling Team specialising in stress testing, loss forecasting and case modelling and risk analysis. Professional Services was launched working with UK Mortgage Lenders on property valuation audits to improve new lending quality. The Consulting Business also continued its strong growth after its launch in 2010 providing Credit Risk support to both new and existing Lenders with documentation, process and people support for new lending. In 2012 further product launches are planned including RULES © technology which promises significant advantages in risk assessment deliverables (more to follow).
