White Gallery Unveils The Sweetest Bridal Designs

In celebration of the time honoured tradition of the good old fashioned British street party, leading bridal wear designers from White Gallery London have given in to sweet temptation to dream up confectionery inspired couture creations based on – and made from - the nation’s favourite sweet treats, courtesy of our sweet partner Tangerine Confectionery.

Internationally renowned bridal designers Freya Rose, Halo & Co, Harriet Wilde, Ian Stuart, Stephanie Allin and Vivienne Sheriff have been burning the midnight oil in the run up to White Gallery London to ensure their Jubilee celebration designs are the icing on the cake to this year’s Royal and Olympic celebrations! The delicious dresses feature a range of Tangerine’s well-known brands which include; Barratt sweets, Princess Marshmallows and Henry Goode.

Dress by Ian Stuart

A powder puff fantasy for a sweet celebration! Inspired by 1950's Beauty Parlour glamour, poodles and clouds, Ian has created a short fun dress from a mountain of marshmallows in cotton candy and banana pastel tones that portrays cartoon kitsch.

Dress by Stephanie Allin

Truly Scrumptious! Stephanie Allin’s Truly Scrumptious dress really is a sweet delight! A tea length, vintage tea party inspired dress made with dainty Dolly Mixtures to create an exotic paisley pattern to match the colourful and zingy flavours of the sweets used!

Millinery by Vivienne Sheriff

Two stunning hats – the first acelebratory calypso style piece in sugary pastel tones in soft pink and white featuring a firework display of colourful confectionery.

The second, a sweeping wide-brimmed style featuring a graduated colour scheme of fun foam sweets in pastel shades, the crown covered in contrasting sweet and a signature sash made of brightly coloured wrappers carefully stitched together.

Millinery by Halo & Co

Have fun at your British Tea Party this summer with an English Eccentrics inspired headpiece! A truly flamboyant extravaganza of exploding liquorish swirls and jewelled Catherine wheels framing a quintessential British icon, the top hat. In celebration of the Jubilee year Halo & Co celebrate being British by mixing the Mad Hatter’s tea party with Willy Wonka!

Shoes by Freya Rose

Step into a sweet smelling British rose garden! A floral classic with a fruity twist - elegant court shoes embellished with floral motifs cleverly constructed from fruit salad, refreshers and gummy shapes in a zingy array of pinks and oranges.

Shoes by Harriet Wilde

Walking on air – pink, white and positively fluffy! Pastel platforms meet plump marshmallows to create a design which is positively pillow like! Striped flumps add a contemporary candy embellishment to this fantasy candy cloud footwear.
