Located on the edge of Eccleston Square in the Central London SW1 district of Belgravia, Eccleston Square Hotel shares a postcode with some of the most exclusive stores London has to offer.  Offering just 39 rooms, Eccleston Square Hotel is in close proximity to London’s Victoria Station, serving as the perfect base for those with a desire to explore the historic capital. 
 
One of London’s best boutique hotels, Eccleston Square Hotel has been designed to be spacious, advanced and exceptionally hi-tech; the three core values at the heart of its design are Wellbeing, Technology and Value for Money.  However, despite its commitment to modernity, the hotel boasts a long and historic past.  Built around 1835, its most notable former residents include a young Princess Victoria and Lord Louis Mountbatten, whilst Sir Winston Churchill lived just a few doors down from this elegant Grade II building.  In 2010, Parisian siblings Olivia and James Byrne acquired numbers 36 and 37 Eccleston Square and set out transforming a dilapidated low-cost hotel into a multi-award winning accommodation option, capturing its historic spirit and seamlessly carrying it into the 21st Century. 
 
 
Rooms
 
Hidden behind a stunning Georgian façade, Eccleston Square Hotel is a haven of cutting-edge luxury.  This effortlessly exclusive hotel offers 39 rooms with either city or garden rooms, whilst some boast private courtyards or private balconies.  Combining progressive technology with sophisticated design, every detail of each room has been carefully considered.  Rooms are divided into three categories; City Queen, City King and Signature King – however, all guests can expect the same level of high service and discerning amenities. 
 
Each room offers Swedish Hästens beds – electronically adjustable with vibrating massage programmes – complimentary Evian mineral water, a Nespresso coffee machine and 24 hour tea service to enhance your comfort and relaxation.  Mood music and lighting can also be tailored to heighten the calming atmosphere, whilst each stylish marble bathroom (complete with smart glass walls) provides complimentary L'Occitane bathroom and Aromatherapy products including L’Occitane essential oils and pillow mist.  
 
To further maximise your wellbeing and relaxation, each room offers a range of state-of-the-art technological features, including a complimentary iPad2 (acting as a digital concierge, it allows guests to order room service, arrange a beauty appointment and browse the internet) a 46” 3D Panasonic TV, complete with SKYTV, complementary 3D movies/3D eyewear and a full colour touch screen VoIP phone (free London landline calls and international calls at VoIP rates.)
 
 
Dining
 
In keeping with the high-tech character of the boutique hotel, the hotel’s restaurant, ‘Bistrot on the Square’, offers the perfect combination of fine cuisine and a modern approach to dining.  With elegant black crystal chandeliers, open fireplaces and large, comfortable chairs, this sophisticated setting is offset by charging units for mobiles and laptops at each seat and free Wi-Fi.  Popular amongst the local residents of Belgravia and guests alike, the restaurant is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner, whilst room service is available 24 hours a day.  Additionally, guests can also enjoy a relaxing afternoon tea or weekend brunch, or unwind at the end of a busy day in the capital with cocktails.  Head chef Sandeep credits his home city of Mumbai as the place where he developed his passion for cooking.  After gaining a masterts in Culinary Art in London, Sandeep joined the city’s grandest dame hotel, The Dorchester, where he stayed until joining Eccleston Square Hotel in 2011. 
 
In addition to its refined restaurant, Eccleston Square Hotel also provides a bespoke Media Lounge that caters perfectly for those travelling on business.  With a 103" LED TV wall with complimentary Wi-Fi and charging sockets, the unique lounge is well suited for presentations and private screenings, in addition to private dining and group activities, for up to 14 participants.
