JET Group acquires Xtralite
The German-owned JET Group, which makes skylights and ventilation products, has acquired Xtralite Ltd of Blyth, Northumberland — a leading manufacturer of customised roof lighting — to complement the work of Wednesbury-based roofing manufacturer JET Cox.
Group CEO Eric Pans said: “We are very enthusiastic about the technical competence and strong brand reputation of Xtralite. We should be able to develop excellently in the UK and extend our market position.”
Xtralite was founded in 1993 by Bob Tweedy, who will continue to play an active role in the company. He said: “I’m looking forward to seeing Xtralite thrive with its new-found relationships.”
