Adam Maerov is a partner in the Corporate Restructuring Group of McMillan’s Calgary office.  His practice includes all aspects of bankruptcy and insolvency law including workouts, reorganizations, bankruptcies, receiverships, liquidations and security enforcement.

Adam advises banks, financial institutions, asset based lenders, funds, borrowers, directors and officers, customers, unsecured creditors and suppliers in domestic and cross-border restructuring proceedings. Adam also regularly advises court appointed receivers, trustees in bankruptcy, monitors and purchasers of distressed assets.

Adam was named a Corporate Lawyer to Watch in Corporate Restructuring by the 2014 Lexpert Guide to the leading US/Canada cross-border corporate lawyers.  Adam is also regularly recognized by Chambers Global: The World’s Leading Lawyers for Business, most recently in 2014 in the area of Restructuring/Insolvency.
