Anna Rizova is the Managing Partner of Wolf Theiss in Bulgaria and one of the most established advisors in the country. She has had central and unique roles in Bulgaria’s landmark transactions of the last two decades. 

Anna leads a wide range of complex and important transactions and regulatory matters for global companies. Some of her recent mandates include advising South Stream Transport BV on the development of the South Stream Offshore Gas Pipeline, advising the Shah Deniz Consortium on the signing of a long-term Gas Sales Agreement with Bulgargaz EAD as well as advising and representing key renewable energy generators in Bulgaria, such as Lukerg Renew, Enel Green Power, Alpiq, and Solar Green Energy on access to the grid matters for RES electricity generators.

Anna was previously the General Counsel for Kozluduy Nuclear Power, negotiating the modernization agreements for Units 5 & 6, one of the last significant modernizations of nuclear power plants in Europe. She was then General Counsel of Bulgaria's first mobile operator and Head of Competition at Bulgaria Telecom. Before joining Wolf Theiss, Anna was the youngest country Managing Partner in the DLA Piper global network.
