Manager of the European public affairs and policy output of the organisation. 

This job of work mandates close collaboration with the BVCA's sister organisation, the EVCA in Brussels, while working on projects of political outreach (MEP liaison for example) and representations on the key regulatory files affecting the private equity and venture capital industry (AIFMD, EuVECA, ELTIF, MIFID II etc). 

Standalone projects have included serving as the BVCA representative to the Centre for European Studies task force on "Supporting Long Term Investment and Retirement Savings". 

Speaking engagements have ranged from a presentation to the 2013 Colombia Startup and Investor Summit in Bogota to chairing the closing debate at the Progress Political Weekend of the same year.
