Paul-Alexander Wacker is a founding partner of KUHNEN & WACKER IP Law Firm.

He is a qualified German Patent Attorney since 1975, as well as a European Patent Attorney and a European Trademark and Design Attorney. In addition to his long experience with patent litigation, trademark and mediation cases, and his background in business administration he acquired valuable know-how in the management and valuation of intellectual assets and in the fields of trademarks, designs, licensing and litigation.

Paul-Alexander Wacker is frequently invited to lecture on German and European Patent Practice in German Universities and overseas, including the John Marshall Law School, Chicago, as well as at Seminars in Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka, in Beijing and Shanghai, and at national and international meetings of LES, INTA and AIPLA. Moreover, he is a member of several other IP associations.

Paul-Alexander Wacker has published numerous articles and co-authored books in the fields of IP in general, IP management and economics.
