Taras Aleshko is an associate in the Kyiv office of Baker & McKenzie, specializing in natural resources, power and dispute resolution. Taras has a notable record of counseling clients in the mining and energy sectors, starting from entry into the Ukrainian market or extension of existing businesses, through legal support of day-to-day operations and extending to negotiations or disputes with counterparties and governmental organizations.  He also advises on the regulatory aspects of mining operations, including obtaining and protection of subsoil use rights, and representation of foreign investors in joint mining activities.
