Giangiacomo Olivi is the Partner who heads the Italian IPT department.

Giangiacomo focuses on technology, media and commercial matters and advises leading Italian and international clients on various transactions in the communications sector. He lectures at the University of Milan at the Post-Graduate Course on Media and New Technologies Law.

Since 2006 Chambers & Partners, The Legal500 EMEA and a number of client surveys have identified Giangiacomo as the leading individual in Italy in the Media and technology field.

Giangiacomo received a number of awards and recognitions. Most recent are TMT Lawyer the Year at the Italian Top Legal Awards (Nov. 2013); Telecoms Lawyer of the Year at the ILO Client Choice Awards (May 2014); and TMT Lawyer of the Year at the Legalcommunity Awards (June 2014).
