James M. Bond Q.C. is a partner and Co-Chair of the Franchise Practice at McMillan LLP.  James has been named a leading practitioner in franchise law numerous times by various publications including LEXPERT, Best Lawyers Canada and Who’s Who Legal.  His practice includes drafting and negotiating a range of franchise, distribution and licensing agreements.  His clients range from start-ups to international systems expanding into Canada.  James has served for a number of years on the Pacific Region Advisory Committee to the Canadian Franchise Association, and regularly speaks and writes on a variety of topics related to his areas of practice.  He received his Queen’s Counsel designation in 2010.
