Atle Degré  is a partner in Norwegian law firm, Kluge, a full service corporate law firm with 120 lawyers located in Oslo, Bergen and Stavanger. Atle advices private and public companies in financial markets law and corporate law including corporate governance issues.

Atle was involved with the Norwegian Corporate Governance Board which issues the Norwegian Code of Practice(www.ncgb.no) as chairman, as a member and in the establishment of the board. Before joining Kluge Law Firm, he served as Chief Legal Counsel/Senior Vice President for the Oslo Stock Exchange (Oslo Børs ASA) for more than ten years.  Atle has his degree  as Candidate of Jurisprudence from the University of Oslo, Norway. He started his professional career at the Norwegian Ministry of Finance  in 1992 and later served as a deputy judge in Lofoten District Court. He has been selected for a number of official committees preparing legislative reviews in areas like take over regulations, MiFID, prospectuses- and transparency regulations.
