Robert Jamieson is a senior partner at Ashurst Australia (formerly Blake Dawson) . He has been a partner of the Firm for 24 years and he has been with the Firm for 31 years .

Robert's areas of practice include Energy & Resources , Environment , Climate Change and Water law .

Robert is currently the Practice Head of the Firm's Environmental Law Practice as well as the joint Practice Head of the Firm's Asia Pacific Utilities Practice .

The Firm's clients for whom Robert regularly acts include , Shell , Mobil Refining Australia , Esso Australia ,Orica, Hewlett-Packard , MMG , the three Melbourne and Metropolitan Water and Waste Water Retailers (City West Water , South East Water and Yarra Valley Water) , the Murray Darling Basin Authority ,Coliban Water , the Country Fire Authority and the Melbourne City Council .

Robert's outside interests/ roles include acting as Chairman of the Sustainable Melbourne Fund and Deputy Chair of the Savewater Alliance  .

Robert holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Science , both from Monash University ."
