Gautam heads Maritime, Offshore, Shipping and Insurance practice at ALMT Legal. Gautam’s Admiralty and Maritime practice includes both dry and wet shipping and acts for ship owners, charterers, yards, hull and cargo insurers, P&I and Defense Clubs, salvage companies, bunker suppliers etc. on disputes pertaining to claims including enforcement of mortgage, bills of lading, charter parties, ship building and ship repair contacts, collision, salvage, general average and marine pollution, to name a few. He also handles ship finance, sale and purchase, ship registration work. Large part of Gautam’s practice includes advising terminal operators on PPP projects in Ports.
