Shinichiro Abe is one of Japan's leading advisers on local and international corporate restructuring and insolvency law. He has spoken at various conferences related to his field and has authored and co-authored several publications on Restructuring and Insolvency. In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Abe is a professor at Chuo Law School.
Mr. Abe has extensive experience advising Japanese and international structures requiring insolvency protection and solutions as well as advising on alternative dispute resolution procedures. Mr. Abe has represented several foreign creditors, domestic creditors and trade customers, most recently relating to one of the biggest and most prominent insolvency cases in the semiconductor industry. He has also successfully represented several worldwide creditors with regards to big bankruptcy cases in Japan, U.S. and Europe.
