Safir Anand studied at Delhi University (BA (Economics) 1992) at the Shriram College of Commerce and did his law at Delhi University in 1995. He is a member of the Bar Council of India, INTA, APAA, Asia-Pacific Lawyers Association; Centre for International Legal Studies, SAARCLAW, AIPPI, International Bar Association, Luxury Society, The Association of Media and Entertainment Counsel, International Franchising Association. His practice areas include trademarks, contractual law, franchising and licensing, character merchandising, advertising and labeling laws,IP audits, IP issues in mergers and acquisitions, due diligence.

Mr. Anand is Senior Partner and Head of the Trademarks, Entertainment and Contractual IP.He advises several Fortune 500 companies and acts for over 6,000 clients.
