Celebrating the success and achievements of firms and individuals, the annual awards looks for those that have taken an innovative approach to demonstrate exceptional business performance.

Chris Green and his son Matthew – who joined the business straight from school nearly ten years ago – won the award after being unknowingly nominated by one of their clients..

Chris, who is based in Harrogate, said: “Winning this award is absolutely surreal, it’s completely different to the awards we’ve won in the past and the fact that we didn’t enter ourselves makes the win feel even more special.

“To find out that our success will be published in the Corporate LiveWire magazine, which goes in every airport’s Aspire First Class Lounge in the world, left us speechless too.”

The Corporate LiveWire Innovation and Excellence Awards were established to honour those who standout as consistently showing best practice in every aspect of their work and transforming the industry they work in.

This year the company has also been shortlisted in the Residential category in the Johnstone’s Painter of the Year competition, along with the Small Contractor category in the Painting and Decorating Association's (PDA) Premier Trophy Awards.
