Nancy Samuriwo is the Partner in Charge of the Intellectual Property Department of Gill, Godlonton & Gerrans Legal Practitioners of Harare, Zimbabwe. She represents a wide range of international IP owners seeking intellectual property registrations both in Zimbabwe and through the ARIPO (African Regional Intellectual Property Organisation) regional route. She is the current Chairperson of the ARIPO Working Group that is tasked to review the Banjul Protocol of Marks and suggest possible changes aimed at improving the performance of the ARIPO regional trade mark system.

She holds first degree from the University of Zimbabwe and is finalising an LLM degree with the University of South Africa, specialising in intellectual property law.

She is also a contributing author to a revision of a business law book.
