Michael Schler is a tax partner in the New York City law firm of Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP.  He practices in the areas of mergers & acquisitions, corporate tax, international tax, and financial products. He is a past Chair of the New York State Bar Association Tax Section, past President of the American Tax Policy Institute, and chair of the New York Tax Forum.  He is the author of numerous published articles, a speaker at numerous tax conferences, and chair of an annual M&A tax conference sponsored by the New York City Bar and Penn State Dickinson School of Law.
