Karine is part of a well-respected team involved in defending class actions having a national scope, regularly representing both Canadian and foreign clients embroiled in commercial disputes, particularly in the areas of commercial fraud, conflicts between shareholders, contract law, insolvency and real estate litigation.

Her practice covers all aspects of such disputes, including providing advice on litigious issues, the drafting of proceedings and legal opinions and representing clients before the courts. She regularly pleads before a variety of courts and tribunals in Québec.

Karine was the winner of the Francophone Orator of the Year competition at the annual speaking contest of the Young Bar Association of Montréal (the “YBAM”) in 2010. She also earned second place in the “Prix Paris-Montréal de la francophonie 2010” competition.

She participated, as a delegate of the YBAM, in parliamentary commission hearings of the Québec National Assembly on the Act to amend the Code of Civil Procedure to prevent improper use of the courts and promote freedom of expression and citizen participation in public debate.
