I am a leading technology lawyer with over 22 years' experience spent advising leading service providers and suppliers of technology and software, multinational companies, early stage and high growth technology start-ups and government bodies.
I have a particular expertise in IT and business process outsourcing and have advised on a number of complex and ground breaking projects including the UK Government's £4.5bn National Identity Scheme, a transformational IT outsourcing involving Accenture and Lloyds Banking Group, and a £660m second generation business process outsourcing for NS&I. My team has also won a number of awards for advice in the IT and Technology sector including “TMT firm of the year”.
I have been a named legal expert in legal directories such as Legal 500 and Who's Who Legal 2013 and have been described as 'second to none', 'a trusted and valued adviser' and 'a joy to work with'. I am ranked as a leader in my field in Chambers UK 2014.

I regularly advise on issues involving Cloud Computing, apps, e-commerce, social media and big data as well as advising on outsourcing, the licensing and exploitation of digital data and databases.
I regularly speak on information technology, intellectual property and digital media law issues. For many years, I lectured for the Bristol University Diploma in Intellectual Property Law and Practice.
I am a member of the Society for Computers and Law and active in the International Technology Law Association.
