Fabien Aepli studied law at the Universities of Fribourg and Zurich and is admitted to the Geneva Bar. He holds a Master of European and International Business Law from the University of St. Gallen (M.B.L.-HSG) and a postgraduate degree in international trade law from the University Institute of European Studies of Turin.

Fabien heads the Financial Institutions sector group for Eversheds in Switzerland. He specialises in banking & finance law as well as commercial contracts. His experience includes cross-border transactions, financing and asset management matters, general terms and conditions, structuring and setting-up businesses, corporate reorganisation and regulatory authorisations.

Fabien has authored various publications and articles, including on retrocessions and other commissions in the banking sector.
