Paul is one of the founding partners of Dillon Eustace. His two areas of particular expertise are in Transport Law (particularly Maritime and Admiralty Law), and Media Law. Paul is recognised as one of Ireland’s leading practitioners of Maritime Law and Logistics, acting mainly for ship-owners and insurance interests against commercial threats and class-actions. His particular specialty is the law relating to arrests and wrongful arrests. He is also an expert on riparian rights. 

He Is Global Law Experts Irish Maritime Lawyer of the Year - 2015

He is the President of the Irish Maritime Law Association. He is also a member of the Nautical Institute, and the Average Adjusters Association. He is a Titulary Member of the CMI (Comite Maritime International). 

Paul acts for Newspapers, private individuals, and other substantial media interests.  He specialises in defence work and pre-publication advice for both traditional newspapers and on-line media, and is also an expert on privacy and free-speech.
