Cristina is  practicing lawyer of the Barcelona Bar Association. Graduate in law from Universidad de Barcelona (1992), Master in maritime law and specialised in port law.  She acquired experience as a litigation lawyer at the law firm Bufete Berenguer Comas and at the shipping agent Witty SA. She was also a P&I correspondent for ship insurers of the International Group of P&I Clubs, starting at Witty, S.A. and setting up INDECO in year 2000. From 2006 to 21 June 2012 she gained experience in port and administrative law through her legal work at the Barcelona Port Authority Primer second prize in the Pablo Acero 2013 award of the International Association of Port Law. She holds the Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English and also speaks Spanish, Catalan and some French.
