Steve Flynn  -  Special Counsel, Simpson Grierson, Wellington, New Zealand.  Steve has specialised in banking & finance law, and corporate insolvency law, for 30 years.  He is also an Honorary Lecturer in the Faculty of Law at Victoria University of Wellington.  Steve has regularly published articles, and given presentations on security, and corporate insolvency, topics.  He has acted in many of New Zealand's most prominent corporate insolvencies and restructurings, most recently the creditor compromise, and subsequent voluntary administration, of State-owned coal mining company Solid Energy New Zealand (the creditor compromise was recognised as New Zealand Deal of the Year at the 2014 New Zealand Law Awards).
