Miranda is a Partner in the Employment Law Team at Rix & Kay Solicitors LLP.  She qualified as a solicitor in 1989 and has specialised in employment law since 1993.  She is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.

Miranda deals with all areas of employment law and has practised both in the private and public sectors and has acted both for household names and vulnerable individuals.  She therefore is well placed to understand the needs of both employers and employees when giving advice and to provide practical solutions to problems.

Her particular area of expertise is in the field of discrimination, the enforcement of post termination restrictions  and business transfers.  She regularly undertakes her own advocacy in the Employment Tribunals and speaks frequently at seminars and has lectured at Brighton University.

The 2013 edition of Chambers and Partners describes Miranda as having a broad practice which includes advising business and charity clients. She "provides sound advice and takes complex issues in her stride. She always provides the big picture and an understanding of the subtleties of the case and the law involved, which is reassuring."

In her spare time, Miranda is a keen runner and as a consequence a very rusty golfer.
